China takes its exams seriously. Every year, stressed out high school students take a standardized test called the “gaokao”. Cheaters are threatened with up to seven years in prison. Despite the legal implications, students facing the gaokao have come up (and got caught with) advanced cheating technology.
1. Wireless Pens.
These advanced pens allows the student to record the test question and transmit them to someone on the outside. The person on the outside can then research the answer, and transmit the solution back to the student via a receiver in the ear.
2. Wireless Shirts.
These shirts contain a camera that is connected to a mobile phone. Images of the test questions are taken with the camera, and transmitted to someone on the outside. The student then receives the answers back through a receiver in the ear.
3. Camera Glasses
These glasses are fitted with a camera that can take and transmit a picture to someone on the outside. The answers are relayed back to the students via an earpiece.
